Today was a rest day. After a late breakfast at 9:30 we organised ourselves and decided to go to the next village for a look around. Up early, had breakfast and met our tour guide at about 9am. It was raining so we took an umbrella each and opted for raincoats. We had a quick chat about where we would go and fortunately what the guide suggested was what we wanted to do.

We continue down looking for the turnoff to the castle. We reach the main road without finding any road that goes that way. Seems odd. Then we read the sign again to discover to our horror that the sign says the castle is not open to the public ( in Italian ). So ...

... this very narrow road, avoiding the parked cars and trucks. It took us a while with Michael out giving directions, but eventually we reached the bottom with no incidents. After that experience, we decided we would just go home. We headed back to the ferry terminal and there was a half hour wait. When the ferry attendant saw Wendy reversing into a waiting space she came out and yelled at the bus driver taking up space and a couple of motor cyclists, told them in ...
