What a fantastic day this turned out to be. By being up at 7 and in the Lido we were able to watch the sail down a series of fjiords and into Geiramger. One of the most beautiful areas we have seen so far. Snow covered mountains soar 4500 feet above and waterfalls are to numerous to name. Today was the day. The day that I had been waiting for on this trip! After getting up early we were on the bus and on our way up Trollstigen (Trolls Ladder) which has amazing views over the valley as well as 11 hairpin bends and a gradient of 10%. ... was the famous, Midnight sun. We stayed at olderfjord which was 2 hours outside of Nordkapp, the most northern part of Europe accessible by road. This is the best location to see the midnight sun.
