        ... followed by a short, but of course grueling, sprint set. Then, we worked on passing and moving with the ball. Practicing real game scenarios, we set up offense and defense for 6 on 5 attack and zone attack. When our pool time expired and an elderly, but lively, water aerobic group replaced our spot in the pool, we were tired and ready for the mellow, relaxing day at the beach.

        ... a phrase in English that said if the ticket is not validated then it is a 40 euro fine per person. He then pointed to the fine print on the back of the ticket to corroborate this. Turns out as this was a regional train with no seat reservations, when you buy the ticket from the automatic ticket machine as we did, then you need to validate, which we didn't. Unfortunately the ticket machine, which spoke perfect English, failed to inform us of this. We tried in vain to ...

        ... pretty near on the map. Lugging our luggages in the scorching hot sun we took more than 1/2 hour to reach our hotel.

        But we were rewarded with free wifi upon arrival yay! The limited wifi in Milan really took a toll on us. It was like being cut off from the world.

        The village is enclosed in a wall, as most of the old ones on hills are, has a couple of churches and a very good crepe store...

        We travelled along towards Florence after our lunch thinking we'd be able to have a quiet evening, do some washing and an easy evening... then we got ourselves lost somehow. We got in about 10pm and not real happy, but the pizza we had was a-maz-ing.
