Today was our first day in Italy. Our port was Livorno, which is on the northwestern coast. We headed out bright and early to Pisa. The actual flight back was as can be expected…a 5 hour flight to Dubai then a 4 hour stop over.

We then boarded again for the 11 hour trip back to Perth from ...

... M1. Fortunately, I had a clear run and arrived with plenty of time to spare. Plenty of time, in fact, to stand around in the freezing cold in shorts and sandals, waiting for the leisurely car park bus to arrive. I was slightly concerned at check in, that my backpack only weighed six kilos. "Bugger" I almost said out loud. I'm still not sure what I didn't pack??? The backpack could almost have fitted in to the hand luggage limits. It ...
