Arrive Pisa 12:00; Pick up car at Avis; Drive to hotel (17 mn) We arrived at Pisa airport on time. Three Ryanair planes had landed before us so we had to wait a little while for our luggage. Peter was pleased to see his suitcase after his experience of lost baggage in France last June! We turned down the little Fiat 500 that Avis offered us since …
recommended the Ripa del Sole. Not only did we enjoy a beautiful view, we had
our first really outstanding meal in Italy. (Not counting cruise ship fare).

late…the DVD Rental was closed.
I walked through to supermarket
stopping at the Posta on the way to pick up ...
... i didnt eat that) and I had got out a DVD for the night so that definitely was a good distraction for the both of us.
We both finally got to bed and had a very peaceful sleep that night.
We heard from Alycia she had arrived safe & sound in England and was with her friends. (we were sad to see her go but felt we had been very lucky to have been able to see her again...so we put things in perspective and we were fine)
