... old town, which is crowded and some people are in costume. The different quarters of the town are decorated with banners. The centre of this town is a gem, but it is surrounded with an ugly sprawl of autostrada and unattractive commercial buildings. We emerge from it on a side we don't recognise. An Italian who speaks perfect English gives us directions, and save for a a short excursion to a rural dead end, our journey to Bevagna is uneventful. We remember how to get ...

... first shop we notice is a camera shop where I pay E27 for A Nikon branded mini USB. Sarnano is a perfect town for a coffee. I'm sure ...

... We have checked out the beach and its very nice and tomorrow we shall go and check out some of these wee towns scattered around this district. 9th September 2015 Got up a bit later and after breakfast we went riding to Portonovo, a small settlement on the beach. It was 30km of steep hills and amazing scenery. We had a coffee stop and a sausage roll and cream bun before tackling the 5km climb out of Portonovo. I don't think I would have got up the hill otherwise. This coast is ...

... couple days after that. There was a pool, fresh fruit from the garden, and of course, delicious home cooked Italian meals. It was such a fun and relaxing week and we could not be more grateful to have had this opportunity here in Italy. We have been so lucky and we're not sure why, but hoping it ...
