    Great day and lifesavers

... and it's exactly how they used to be with crashing waves. A few times waves knock Rosanna over and she finds it difficult to get up as the rocks under her feet make it difficult to stead up without experiencing pain. A lifesaver comes along to help lift her (we thought he was just a local enjoying a day at the beach!) haha He tells her to either go past the waves or she risks getting toppled over. I had a lot of fun capturing it on camera haha.

... hot beach! We walk along the promenade looking for the pirate flag and ship that was symbolic of Fillipios beach space. We can't find the pirate ship and say that maybe he turned it into a cruise liner and sailed away!

Very pleased today to be at sea. It's been non stop for us for over two weeks now - so really nice to just chill and do nothing much. Which is exactly what we did. Late breakfast, swim in the adults pool at the far end of the boat. The seawater was smooth, calm and glassy and we passed the volcanic island of Stromboli which was steaming away nicely. Looked very ethereal with all the sea mist and the glassy water. Then we sailed ...

This is a great area to come for a slow down and relax, beach stay at the bottom of the boot of Italy.

Our apartment is in a resort complex with an fantastic terrace and pool on the roof.

The kids loved swimming all day and we loved watching the stunning and beautiful sunsets each night up there.

Tropea is a cool town with a great vibe and many restaurants and little streets.

... into the pool and we played that shark game again.

We drove to a shopping centre that Mum LOVED!
Mum wanted to go into every shop she could in the shopping centre.

After 2 hours of looking at shops and clothes we went to get something to eat and Mum and Zara went into a massive shop.

Riley, Dad and me went to a takeaway shop and I got a burger.
