      ... quite cheap and cheerful, we were pretty impressed ourselves! Montpelier was such a lovely little place and as we kept walking we would discover beautiful buildings and arches... We even got free ice cream but not in the most ideal of situations.       ... and old buildings along the way as well as coming across Villa Nobel which is quite beautiful.On my way back I went into the old part of Sanremo loving all the alleyways and twists and turns.I have forgotten to mention that in order to get to Angela's flat one has to take 2 lifts.       ... the old part of Nice where we searched out somewhere for lunch. We came across a little restaurant down one of the back streets and settled in there for an amazing lunch of Gnocci Nicoise - a gnocci based dish with a stew type sauce with beef and rosemary, Tomato Penne and a goats cheese salad.. (we all shared!) and we also tried Panisse.. its almost like large fries.. except its more made from a bread like batter.
