I was surprised to see just how beautiful Nice is though. I hadn’t heard many good things before I came, but it is a really nice city. ... It was my first visit to a self serve Laundromat and was cheap too which made the 1 kilometre walk well worth it. We came back, repacked our luggage and then took a stroll to the pebble stoned beach where we lazed for a while on the deck chairs looking out over the calm blue water and then decided despite neither of us being hungry, we'd better have lunch. During the evening we took a boat tour on the Seine River where we saw a lot of familiar sites, but were able to hear even more about them through the phone-like translated commentary. Madison took a nice nap during the boat tour so was feeling very energized for the tours on Day 3.
