There is a bike path that runs along the coast on an old train line so we got the bikes off Sven for our first ride since Pamplona on my birthday. It's been too long. After a good hour or so down at the beach enjoying the fact that we had actually made it, we decided to have a look around. We wandered to the west and found a nice cafe. Paul and a beer and I drank a tea whilst we contemplated our moves for the next few hours. Audrey, our couch surfing host for the next few days was finishing work at 730pm. On our way back to Nice we stopped at another medieval city from the 14th century, Cagnes. We ordered pizza for dinner and had an early ...

... sauce. For the main there was also a choice but I had steamed salmon with dill sauce. For dessert I had apple tart. After dinner we went to Monte Carlo casino. The casino is located on the hairpin section of the formula one Grand Prix. There are Ferrari's, Lamborghini's, Porsche's, Maserati's, Mercedes, Rolls Royce and every other luxury car imaginable all parked outside of the casino. To get into the casino you need your passport and they print off a ...

... It lasts for a week and well known artists come to make and listen to music. Daniella and I went into town after 1700 and the streets were busy with people and street artists everywhere. Most of them had their CD's on display in front of them that one could purchase. There were also the local radio stations dotted around giving running commentary. The Ariston theatre hosts the annual music festival ...
