    Do little day

A travel blog entry by lashez on Aug 11, 2015

Today we didn't bother with an alarm and we woke up around 930 and headed to breakfast. We had decided since neither of us particularly liked Milan that we would take another day trip somewhere and headed to the train station to buy tickets. When we arrived we went to a serve yourself ticket station. One guy was trying to help people and pretend he worked there. He had a ...

... cooked right in front of our eyes and the chef let us take a picture to prove it. Emma had a really good looking pasta. It was interesting to see but I think that if you visit this region of France you'd be better served climbing a mountain than holding a water bottle under a slow trickle of water and touching the inside of a cave. My time in the Pyrenees with Liam and Dad was the highlight of my trip so far. So it was a shame to say goodbye to them, leave the mountains behind and return to ...

Well, we hit the ground running early to pack in as much as we could, given we lost half a day yesterday. Weather did the right thing, the storms cleared and we were greeted with sunshine. Off to St Mark's square, at this time of the morning, ************e there. Church was closed being Sunday for services during the day, so started at the Ducale Palace. Wow, those Venetian Dukes certainly knew how to live! ...
