    ... children in the water. Site is gorgeous - the bar area extends onto a lawn with more tables and a humongous canapé / dead posh! And a proper restaurant with full menu.     Before the start of the race there is a great deal of faffing about, marching bands, the local mayor and the low light “Le Petit Mans”.     ... site which is aimed at families, so there were a lot of children and young people around ( shock, horror!) Luckily there is a separate area just for MH's which was peaceful and quiet. The site is across the road from the sea at Ravenoville Plage, so it got very misty and foggy and we began to wonder if we had done the right thing.........

    ... if we could find one locally. Being a Ford part we tried Le Mans Ford, they did not have one and pointed us to Flers Ford who did but were 2 hours north, basically back in Caen…. So we did what we always do, we went for lunch to think about it.
