Now the real fun starts as we leave the central part of the city around 4 to give us plenty of time to reach the game in time for puck drop at 6:15. Overall, Google maps had told us a total journey of 1 hour... Oh, the trust we had in that tool...

Two subway trains later, we touch down in (this will ring in my friends' ears) BOBIGNY. One would figure at the terminus of ...

... French Catholic church which was dedicated to SAINT John Paul II. It was a quaint church by French standards, but it was very nice to be back in a church that had been there for more than a century.

We walked by the Louvre and the Musee D'Orsay and by the time we reached the Eiffle Tower it was lunch time.

We started off the three days by going to see the very big Eiffel

... of the river. On the upper deck of the boat there is a large terrace, but as it turned out, we had no time to go topside during the cruise, which lasted about 2-hours. After departing from its dock on the island, it travels upstream as far as Bercy, then returns downstream via the same route, rounding the southern tip of the island and the Statute of Liberty replica, before pulling into its berth.
