When we were done there, Naomi also had a recommendation for an absinthe bar, but it was pretty far away, so we decided to stick to the bars in the area. The places we chose were pretty good, and we ended in a bar where we tried flaming absinthe and speculoos-flavored vodka.

... the view from the roof. But that was all we needed. The rooftop terrace offered a 360-degree view of Paris, including its number one attraction. I had seen the city from the top of the Eiffel Tower, but had long wanted to visit Montparnasse Tower to see the skyline with the Eiffel Tower in it.
