... and bought bed linens etc. The hotel provides one sheet, one towel and a couple of things that may or may not be dish rags, so I went and got my own sheets and a new pillow cause the one provided was a little suspect. Upim is a little bit expensive though.

Back home, when we go out we arrive at the bar or wherever at around ten or eleven. People here don't even leave their houses until one or two in the morning, and then stay out til the sun comes up! Crazy! I can't imagine ...

... why the name has both an Italian and a German spelling. This is a very quaint town that looks to be fairly old with small winding pedestrian only streets. Street signs are here are written in Italian and German, and a vast amount of people walking around are speaking German. I took some pictures and got myself a quick bite to eat. I have seen a lot of people walking around carrying backpacks with hiking boots and trekking poles ...

... First down Giants from our own three yard line, with six minutes left, we could end it right now. Everyone had a great time at the wedding, weather was brilliant. John was so hungry he even ate a flower, plate decoration and Orla tried to steal the show with her drunken antics.
On our last day in Malcesine we went to the top of a really big hill in a cable car, seen some cows and snow, played some crazy golf at a really late hour and had a few drinks with our friends, the last for a while.

Sunday June 31st

 

I woke up late, ate and then Coach Wood and I headed toTisma's house.  From there we weredriving to Bergamo to watch the Milano Rhinos and Bergamo Lions battle for thefourth playoff spot.  We would playthe winner.  I wanted to see thegame as well but also to film it the way I preferred the game to be filmed,nice and wide so you can see all 22 players at all times.  Unlike the way they ...

... it got too hot then jumped in thepool.  Christina wanted to go inthe whirlpool, which is a figure eight shaped, kid infested, water-jet fueledcanal with a current that pulls you around it.  I had never seen anything like it, but it was fun, even as Iwashed over helpless little kids that got in my way.

 

We laid back down and talked for a while longer in additionto analyzing and judging the numerous tattoos around us.  And there were a lot.  Italians love their tattoos ...

... We are staying with Paolo, Marcella and Sara who speaks English so we have loved chatting and learning about their family and Italian life. We have met a lot of their family and they are precious! We are living in our own Italian flat with a bedroom, kitchen and living room and we are once again eating normal food! It is so nice at this point in our trip to have such great people ...
