... this, 2 days before we leave, its absolutely pouring with rain. We will be cycling to london, where rain is pretty much a given. All this in a tent. Like I said, this was a great idea in the summer. But it will be done. Bikes have been packed, return flights have been booked, and I refuse to be outdone by mom and dad in record km on ...

... 3rd October. Train travel is free with a special pass. I noticed Chris didn't give out the tickets until this morning.....just in case. St Moritz is at 1775 MASL and we are off to Alp Grum at 2091 metres and a 50 minute ride. A quick turnaround as it was cold and rainy, back in the train to Pontreschino, a bus to Punta ...

        and continued my search.

I ended up at the same hotel as last year!!

last experience here was a nightmare with young children having a sports day
running up and down the corridors all evening but as its not school ...

... most milk was honored by wearing the largest bell. After the cow parade we had lunch at the town fire house which was set up to provide food for those who had come to the festival. After lunch we took a bus, train and another bus to Sent which turned out to be a larger and prettier town than we expected. It is near both Austria and Italy and ...

By our second day we had the bus/train system mastered...we knew where NOT to get off the train. First stop was at Morteratsch at a local cheese factory where they make cheese the traditional way with milk from cows that graze high in the mountains. We watched a cheese maker whipping up a copper cauldron of cheese. We were his most rapt audience. Although all the people we met in Switzerland spoke English, he didn't. So, ...
