    One of Norway's great to do's is a hike to the Pulpit Rock. There are other 2 rock formations but it takes much longer to get there. This one is a hike of 2hours one way but pretty steep at times. The other thing is that hundreds of people do it at the same time because most get there by bus or ferry.
    With my ticket I could take the fjord cruise to get there. Again an amazing trip of 2 ...

    ... steep, I often couldn't get my balance to get back on my luggage laden bike, after a rest. Hannah however is proving to have her father's mountain goat genes, and although there are tears at times when it all seems a bit too much-she rarely has to push up the hills!!

    ... were on the brygge at Flekkefjord, along with another 8 or 10 vans. The authorities actually provide electrical plug-in facilities, and an honour system of payment of Nk50 ($10) which you can pay either at the Tourist Information Office (if/when it opens) or there is a parking inspector who will also take your money after 9ish.
