    ... one evening. The motorists acknowledge that pedestrians exist and will even stop and let you cross at the crosswalks. Japan is CLEAN, not even cigarette butts around! What was strange, though, was we had to really search for a trash can when we had garbage, especially in the train stations. A guide told us they were removed 15 years ago when a poisonous gas was let off in the subway systems. But I digress..

    ... for the week. Yesterday we walked over to the hotel where we get the shuttle to Hong Kong and got out tickets for that, everything has to be planned out - nothing happens spontaneously here for us!

    I'll add a few pictures from the week. We're having our first guest for supper tonight, featuring recipes from Sandra and Blanche - thanks ladies!

    ... and we were encouraged to wear our "colours" Some of my Korean students wore their traditional costumes - so beautiful! The food was AMAZING and from about 15 different countries.     ... tossed but we had cheap seats ($30) so we were up in the
    nose bleeds with no AC!! AND... there
    wasn’t a drink or snack to be purchased during the entire game! It wasn’t a nail biting game but it was a
