Teary stuff aside, Dec and Jan were also Party Time!!!! Cheers to all the good times we had together, now it's time for a detox. Yea right.
... to grab our bags, got to the train station, grabbed a bite to eat and headed were off towards the Geneva airport. We were happy to have a little extra time at the airport because you actually checkin and get your baggage claim ticket before going up to the counter. It also gave us enough time to enjoy a last vacation day beer! Once on the plane (we flew Swiss air), they gave out a handful of delicious Swiss chocolate and brought a bunch of stuff for the boys (a book, coloring puzzle ...
... Jerome was already ok at it before), understanding the 3 different types of Malaria vaccinations, writing rental contracts....to only name a few.
Oh yes, and we were kind of doing some work on the side as well ;)
BUT, all that lies behind us now, and as we are slowly winding down an enormous sense of excitement takes over. So ready to go now!!!
... sometimes I feel very frustrated but I love it at the same time. It keeps me on my toes and teaching me in return some valuable lessons. I will be teaching there right up until I leave.
The weather here is still cool, we had some warmer days which was nice. Spring is finally here and since I am leaving June 27th, that means I will have one week of summer before heading to winter down in Australia (seasons are opposites there).
