    ... however they really don't do Bern any justice. We were wishing we had of stayed here overnight rather than Zurich... Lunch time stop is at the picturesque town of Montreux. Yes another 'jaw droppingly' stunning place. I think I will be using that description quite a bit during this tour! Montreux is situated on the shores of Lake Genève and wow!     ... ready for harvest, pine forest groves and grape growing areas. We crossed the Swiss border just after Lucanne which we bypassed for traffic ease. Our track followed Lake Geneve for about 2 hours. This beautiful waterway was flanked on one side by terraced grape vines and on the other by Swiss Alps.     ... which was several kilometers long. She was not in a good mood…! But we eventually made it to the top of the hill and fortuitously found an apple tree and plumb tree on the side of the road. The apples were a little sour but the plumbs were juicy and delicious. And then just like that, everyone was in a good mood again.     ... sometimes I feel very frustrated but I love it at the same time. It keeps me on my toes and teaching me in return some valuable lessons. I will be teaching there right up until I leave.

    The weather here is still cool, we had some warmer days which was nice. Spring is finally here and since I am leaving June 27th, that means I will have one week of summer before heading to winter down in Australia (seasons are opposites there).
