First time in Napoli. A bit rough, street vendors alongside the station, piles (and unpiled) of rubbish everywhere. Nice hotel though. Too early to check in - the room is definitely not ready. Homeward Bound
... time where we did go and Christmas Day and New Year's Eve were made very special.
The best thing was a great table so thanks to Maureen & Steve, Geoff & Dorothy and Pam & Chris; not forgetting our tour companions Tony & Jackie.

Sorrento soothes,,,,
... spritz followed by a gelati and investigated shops with a view to warm sweater for me and maybe some jeans for Caitlin. The shops range from exquisite designer gear to market type stalls down a lane.
During the day I also phoned about my luggage, each time feeling stressed and anxious and wishing I didn't have to think about it when I was surrounded by such beautiful sights and atmosphere...a lesson in trying to live in the present moment.

Wonderful Family, Wonderful Pizza
... dressed as cops were chasing someone through the very crowded streets. At first, we did not realize it was a movie, but Veronica heard the director yell cut. (As I said, lots of odd things happened). We then went and got some of Naples famous pizza. And oh-my-god was it amazing.
