How? It was the first time I'd applied for a visa. I'd looked up before what I needed but apart for my passport and picture, nothing else was asked for. So when I had finally found the right building where the travel agency was, I had to figure out how to get there. The buildings, which are all huge, are like a maze inside. Finally arriving at the 9th floor I found the office, but I had no idea what to do. Can I walk to the counter? Should I fill in something ...

Today is our last day in Hong Kong. We have checked out most malls and tried to control our shopping (amazing what you can buy when you don't think you need anything!). Our flight to Melbourne leaves at midnight tonight! Today we tried to take it easy, taking a river cruise, checking out the largest mall (Grand Harbour), and visiting the Kowloon Gardens, a gorgeous oasis right in the middle of the CBD at Kowloon. After all of crazy Hong Kong, I needed a break, so I headed out to the islands. There are amazing islands just 30 minutes from the main ferry terminal in Hong Kong, can you believe it?! It's like literally transporting yourself into the Caribbean for a while.
