Had a tough 110 mile ride today. It wasn't so much the distance as it was the humidity. We cranked it out though and I got to have some interesting conversations. When we got to lodging we were all treated with a free massage from a pro masus. Totally awesome. Then we were fed ...

One of the 8 Wonders is the National Tallgrass Prairie Preserve, so we drove to the heart of the Flint Hills to see if it was really a 'wonder'. It certainly is beautiful! It is like nothing you can experience ...

Hoping to shift into vacation mode...

Left home at 6:30am this morning. My Aunt Carol Thomas, whom I dearly loved and admired, passed away this week. Attended her funeral in Corydon this morning and burial in Cambria. It is hard to believe that we will not see her anymore, but she lived a long and very good life. I feel so bad for her family... it is hard to switch into vacation mode...
