Stopped by Dunham Lake Australian Terriers (Rosie's breeder). It was great to see Rosie interact with her pack. She became best of friends with her dad (Jake-#1 AT in the country) and they played, wrestled and ran for hours. Theresa has 8 Aussies and she's very careful to introduce new visitors slowly and correctly. There was a lot of sniffing and positioning, Rosie was one of the pack.
... and got us all set up. I got in the kayak at the RV and Bob pulled me and the kayak down to the boat launch...pretty funny scene. I felt like one of those Egyptian queens being carried around. It was a good experience on the lake but we realized that we didn't have the seats set up right because they were set for one person to kayak...Front seat was way back and the back seat was squashed too much. Poor Bob was the squished one. ...
... br> Sheila and I also took a walk along the St. Croix river. During our visit to Hinckley, we have seen a ton of deer (mostly along the road - scary) and a couple of bald eagles. While we were at the river, we seen some tracks that looked a lot like bear - or perhaps a big dog!!
Tomorrow is moving day and we head up north towards Canada.

Work up today to snow!! Sheila got a picture of me with snow on the jacket. We should have headed south, but despite the cold, the Northwood are very amazing beautiful. Sheila and I explored the North Shore of Minnesota from Duluth to Schroeder - about 100 miles. Our first stop was Duluth - at the Duluth Trading Company. Very expensive place.
Next stop was the lighthouse at Two Harbors. The lighthouse is still operating. We couldn't get in the building but we walked ...
