    ... always a good sign you are not getting scammed! We had an amazing day snorkeling in crystal clear waters and spotted hundreds of tropical fish and the incredible coral reefs they inhabit. Delicious Thai green curry lunch followed by pineapple and watermelon served by the crazy Thai/Cambodian crew who loved to play UB40 at full volume at each stop!

    Back on the island we decided to book our onward journey to Cambodia leaving on Sunday 17 May... Watch this space folks x

    ... by a sit down. It was lovely. Still warm but oh it was nice. I headed out and Helen stayed in for a bit and swam a bit more. This will be how most of our days will go, with the odd kayak trip thrown in.     ... picked up at 8 for a day of trekking in the jungle. 30th As foreseen we got picked up at 8 after breakfast and picked up Maria and Claudio a few minutes later in Kai Bae.     ... and it's expected that you do some hard bargaining to get to a more realistic price. You have to have lots of patience for this though! The market sits amongst 'go-go bars' and what is Bangkok's main red light district. Adverts for 'Thai boys' sit on street signs and every few meters you walk there is an invite to a 'sexy ping pong show'.     ... does.. after all he's not a travel agent and thinks we should know what we're doing and where were going, which we should,.. however doesn't go that way and nowhere near it.. Before we'd even got off the bus at the Border young guys were jumping on the bus asking where you were heading,, so you say "Koh Chang"!... He looks at your ticket and says "come this way, mini bus waiting" thinking he is the driver ...
