Bangkok, Thailand ingridt... and after searching for a place to stay, we decided to share a room and finally found one with 2 beds and by 4.30 AM, finally hit the pillow that was made of cast iron. After a day and a half, I decided it was time to head South to the beaches and James went North to see culture.

It's funny how time becomes deceptive when away from the routines of home life, I have to think about how long I've been here, which is about 6 days I believe. It is currently ...
Bangkok, Krung Thep, Thailand troybabs... to watch, especially in such a seedy setting with morose performers who looked like they'd rather slit their wrists than be there. I have friends who've been to these shows and had fun, as the club was full and at least the girls were attractive and were laughing about the sheer ridiculousness of their performances. This place was nothing but depressing. We finished our beers and left.

To try and normalise the experience and put the night back on track, we headed to a normal ...

Bangkok, TH.40, Thailand lawre... his arms everywhere. The stall holder just laughed but I stopped didn't want to cheese him off anymore. So we moved off and had a butchers further along the street. We both bought little ones to keep as a memento, just little mass produced things. One certain section of the market we weren't really impressed by was where the stalls were selling Tiger skins and Ivory products, as with other acts of animal cruelty we've seen or heard of we have to just turn away ...

Bangkok, Krung Thep, Thailand astoreonline... i was taken to see a doctor in the general surgery unit. You can imagine my surpise when i said " so doc, i need to catch a bus tonight, what can you give me to make this sweling disappear" when he turned around and went "oh no, i think it would be better for you to stay in the hospital a few nights.....i plan on putting you on IV antibiotics every 6hrs". So it appears it was a little more serious than i first thought! After my consultation, i temporarily discharged myself so i ...
Bangkok, Thailand mccoyryan... length of time being poked/stroked with out wanting to bite someone. The tigers where so docile and just laid on the ground with out doing anything. Walking around the sanctuary, I saw cubs being led around an I had some pictures taken with them. I must admit the cubs where lively, full of energy and did not seem to be mistreated or drugged. I also saw another enclosure with some more tigers and they seemed ok and were allowed to roam freely and swim in the pool.

One of ...
Bangkok, Thailand traveller64446... i dont remember getting there. We then had our first taste of proper Thai food in the hotel, I had hot and sour soup served with rice and DK had a seafood curry - which looked good but pretty brave if you ask me :)
After eating we went to our room and had every intention of looking at the LP and maybe having a walk round but fell asleep...
We both woke up at about 3am - raided the mini bar for water and kit-kat ROCK n ROLL...and then went back to sleep... xxx
