A Day in York Beach, Maine
... area, seemed to be able to accomodate the massive swarms of people that travel to the beach each day during the summer.
Around the corner from Short Sands, I found myself in the shopping area of York Beach. Although these buildings were shut down for the winter, I was surrounded by gift shops, tattoo parlors, small food stands and ice cream shops. I could easily imagine how excitingly busy this area must be during peak season.
