This morning was such an early start with the alarm going off at 2.15 am! We ate too much sugar before bed so I don't think we got to sleep till after midnight so we are very tired. It was great to catch up as I hadn't seen both of them since I left Canada last year.

I ended up staying with Ben and Nikki outside Miami. They were camping not too far away from the Everglades ...

... good progress today so that Kim and Michael could go to their basketball practices Monday afternoon (1200 miles to home!). Unfortunately, the Thanksgiving weekend traffic on 95 was absolutely horrible, and we had a lot of slow downs. We eventually made it to Pineville, NC, just south of Charlotte, about 9:30 pm. Still have nearly 500 miles to drive tomorrow, so basketball practice is looking iffy....

Everyone is in good spirits, but ...
