... as we had anticipated and the speeds that they reach are amazing. They are fearless!!

As this event is a precursor to the World Championships here in Feb 2015 there were many more sponsors tents and promotions than at Aspen. We visited them all and came away with a bag of goodies - champagne stoppers, key rings, luggage tags, stickers, t shirt, toe warmers, lip balms, several cowbells, picnic rugs, posters and a supply of breakfast/ muesli ...

All the local businesses are in the process of putting up their decorations. You have to admit the North Americans do this better than most. It was great to see real live Christmas trees for sale outside the local supermarket. Different types Spruce, fir, etc) ...

Woke with an air of expectation this morning as yesterday had been mindblowingly good. It was a cool, crisp morning around -7c. Felt just like home! Scrambled once again up the snow covered hill to the grandstand. The World Cup Ladies Slalom Course was all laid out and we were able to see it from top to bottom.

Once again we cheered on all nations and a huge cheer for our Aussie, Greta Small. This was her first World Cup Slalom start. Unfortunately Greta straddled the ...
