Leaving the subway at Akihabara, one is ASSAULTED by NOISE, SIGHTS, and MAIDS handing out leaflets. The short skirted, knee hi's or boots look is everywhere: On the girls handing out tissues and wipes with leaflets, to the young women taking them on their shopping spree. ... of all of the newest toys. I got lost in my own world and left after about 4 hours. Right near the hostel, I found an area of bookstores, where you can find really old books and authentic woodblock prints. There is something for everyone in this city, and if you need to escape, its not far to the mountains. I plan on heading back to Korea a few days sooner than my ticket, so hopefully next entry, I can add photos of my experience here. Stay tuned.
