Spent all of today on the road after being picked up from our hotel at 8 and arriving at our destination 12 hours later. We did meet some cool people who were 2 girls from Italy (Ottavia & Ludo) and a Swedish/Russian couple who had just spent a month in a Buddhist camp in Kathmandu (Ken & Maria).

We thought heading out of the towns we would see beatiful green landscape but it just seemed to be roadside shops and shacks most of the way.

        The long ride to Bromo

... we were greeted by even more tourists so decided to get bikes out to Bromo itself and climb it before the touros did their sunset tour then headed to climb Bromo. So glad we did as we beat all the crowds and our climb up and on the rim was peaceful. I can't say the same by the time we came down. After all my travelling ti is hard to believe it is my visit
to my first active volcano! It was rather impressive despite the

Geez it's been 11hours jammed in the car. What a long ride. We are now half way through to our destination, Probolinggo, and now we are in Pekalongan. It is 8am in the morning, and i am really tired. We are at the restaurant for our breakfast. After a little refreshment, maybe my day will start to be on thebright side. I just can't resist to think that I will have another 10 hour. Oh ...
