... at the Kansas City airport. Susan and I were shocked to see really long lines at both baggage check in and security. Why were all these people fleeing Kansas City on a Wednesday night? I had to rearrrange luggage contents as one bag was 4 pounds over the limit so that took time but I managed to get through security in time to walk onto my plane. I lost Susan in the hoopla and never saw her after we checked in. ...
On the Way Home
... area, the parking lots at the businesses were full, lots of activity going on, an old RV park that is normally a ghost town was overflowing with rigs. We were told that they are "suffering" through a 4% unemployment rate. The oilfields are active with pulling units and drilling rigs - a very good sight to see!

... They gave us a list of other campgrounds in the area, as they were the only listing in the campground book. The first one we called had 1 space left, so we took it.
