We arrived in Medan stayed at Grand Antares nice hotel in down town Medan walking down the street looking for the travel agents and a cash machine people are constantly saying hello and waving the traffic is crazy and crossing the road is life risking but also funny.

... and looked like it hadn’t changed since then. We had a good meal and some exceptional little cakes with butter cream frosting from the display case. We thought this must have been owned by the Dutch but no, it was a Chinese immigrant that opened it but catered to the Dutch and local crowd. Stomachs full, we arrived back at the Hotel Tiara Medan for our last night in Indonesia.

... convenient is fine by me! This massive country (Indonesia) looks like it has real potential; it is not on the typical SE Asian travellers route and therefore not flooded with party going meatheads that have subsequently upped the price of everything. A lot like China, like minded genuine travellers are the minority and each day is an enjoyable challenge. Although a few of my days seemed more difficult than most ...
... and needle. That was very nice. Can't remember what else I did besides work on photos and take a 4 hour nap. I tried to Skype Serge about an hour ago but just got his message. Maybe next sunday if I have wifi. I didn't realize Sunday was tomorrow, I thought it was today.
That's it for today. Tomorrow I should do some exploring and get some cash. And do the sewing and I will have to change rooms. Not sure how that will work out.

very nice hotel and environment with higher security but breakfast mostly same for all day and need more improve and check out a little big problem...but other nice
