    We pay our 5 Eur and set off, talk about butterflies, hope we do not meet anything coming the other way and pray we get the right exit at the end of the tunnel otherwise it will not take long to get to the bottom

    The border crossing into Slovenia was quick - - we had to exit the bus and walk through with our passports, but there were none of hassles we'd experienced leaving Hungary going into Croatia. After a nice drive through the very pretty Slovenian countryside, we stopped at a sort of city hall in the village next to the caves and had a nice lunch of local bread, cheese, meat and wine (Thomas ate nearly a loaf of their bread all by himself!).
