... and it seemed to be all uphill.

After lunch we visited the Lipica Horse stud. It's here where the Lippizan horse breed was started. We stopped by the fence on the way in and I fed some of the horses an apple. ... thankful though we are, we have put them out so much already. We compromise on Mauricio again being our tour guide for the morning (he has changed his work arrangements to accommodate us) and we will go to Trieste. Both Bruno and Etsia will be working in Trieste anyway. We bid our farewells to all the family we will not see tomorrow and are very grateful for having been made so welcome, but sad that we also have to move on. What a great time we have had in Cividale! How lucky we ...
