... Romania is not part of the Schengen Zone and so the border with Hungary is more substantial. We even have to show our passports.
*The Romanian language seems easier to pronounce than that of the countries we have recently visited.
* At 11.15 am it is already 33 degrees. Air con is on.

... pull out window T.T. I didn't realize this until towards the end of the train ride; better late than never!
The hotel is pretty close to the train station, but the neighborhood is extremely sketchy. There is a corner where kids wait and approach asking for money. They look about 5-7 years old.
Checking in was pretty straight forward. Air conditioning cost extra, so we plan to just sleep without sheets.

We passed by a few religious buildings, the town theater, the city’s central square, and a memorial. The main part of Cluj-Napoca is relatively small and we walked around most of the town within the afternoon. We stopped by McDonalds to get a meal because it comes with a free World Cup Coca-Cola souvenir glass =).

Day 6: Today we continued on our travels and we crossed the border yet again and today we are going to Romania and we are going to Cluj-Napoca. When we got there we went to War-Zone Paintball Centre and we played paint balling their for the day. We had so much fun and we really enjoyed ourselves. ... in a little cafe, James's latte came out in a champagne class which was pretty funky! We spent the rest of the afternoon in the botanical gardens which were very nice and relaxing, more like a park than gardens but still lovely. At 6pm we did a free city tour, he took us around the city explaining everything, he loved to talk! We met Rovi and Cata in town and went out for dinner at a really nice restaurant who makes their own pasta, safe to say it was delicious ! ...
