The area is famous for pink granite and the size, colour and structure of the boulders in and around the coast is simply stunning. We came down to this barren place, a few miles from Paimpol because of its sheer beauty. Looking out across the water we can see the car free island of Brehat. It has a population of only 350. But the thing that I find most awesome are the plethora of rocks sprouting from the still waters. ... catch an earlier train but we ended up being stranded as the next train to Morlaix would not be for another couple of hours. So we found a nice bar and waited out our time watching the mens final of the French Open.

When we got back to Morlaix enjoyed a wonderful seafood dinner at a family run business.

Mid afternoon just before HW we set off for our next destination. Got a bit of a sail in which was nice.

We anchored not far from the entrance to river leading to Morlaix.

In the morning we took the dinghy to the mainland opposite where we were anchored and saw the Cairn de Barnenez (ancient burial chambers) quite amazing. We then proceeded to Morlaix for the HW lock in.
