... See the photo with our laundry on the line on our small terrace. The village we stayed in, St Chely D'Aubrac, is a gem. Very small, one patisserie, a few cafés, and a couple of restaurants. Our host from our Gite made us breakfast including her homemade yogurt and jam. I figured out the coffee quality dilemma and have a new strategy -I will only drink expresso. The yogurt was sweet and excellent. There was only one cafe open today and it was early on so we didn't have lunch until we reached our destination around 2pm. We must plan our food better for tomorrow. ...

... hiking like than walking at times, mostly French speaking hikers and very few villages which are more than a farm house. While I would walk the Spanish Camino alone I wouldn't walk the French. Today was hot and hilly. We had trouble not only drinking enough water but finding it. Only one cafe today after about 2 hours of walking so it was a good thing we bought food for a picnic lunch. So far the Spanish appear to make much better coffee than the French. Absolutely stunning vistas today. A lot of the path today was very rocky.
