      ... and napkins. Sam and Dali had arranged it as a surprise with a local tourist office. It was magical! We ate omelette, rice, chips and salad that they had brought all the way from the Lonely Tree Cafe. Beer and coca cola were not forgotten. The others had spicy chicken too.       ... the drug smuggling malarky and how you can get lobbed in the grossest prisons.       After about two hours of riding in the back of the tuk tuk hair was completely unmanageable and we all feel like a dust ball.

      ... guide says that there are still Bhutanese who sleep during the day and sneak into Tibet at night to trade.

      Back to Bhutan - the country is pristine. The roads, not so pristine. And yesterday, was a 60 kilometer ride to the capital city of Thimpu along roads that a mule would find challenging. I got quite nauseated.

      Bhutan's just got internet and cable TV in 2003. So, they are in the midst of huge changes because of that. Thimpu is slowly becoming a modern city ...
