This was an easy day for us. It was another blazing hot day in the Fort Worth area, so we kept it simple.

Dan has similar tastes to myself, so he took us to the Amon Carter Museum of American Art. This museum houses a number of original works by the most famous "western" artists Charles M Russell and Frederic Remington. Between them, these ...

When I made it down to the baggage area, I was greeted by a good friend of ours and fellow writer, Dan and his lovely wife Linda. They whisked us away from the airport in a truck so large that it had a ...

... a half, and it took us two and a half hours. We had only given ourselves two hours in there because we needed to hit the road. When we got out of the cavern, the sky was ominous. We were concerned about rain. It stayed overcast all the way to Weatherford, Tx. Luckily no rain, but we did battle very high winds the whole way back .We wore the sidewalls off our tires. So exhausting. Wendi's final comment when we turned the ...
