I wasn't going to be too irrational so I thought I'd wait a few hours, wait for some of the couch surfing responses to come back and if I didn't get any response by the end of my shift at work then I wouldn't go, and since hostels are too expensive there, couch surfing really would be the only way I would go. Chippenham Park was created at the very end of the 17th century as an 'Anglo Dutch' designed landscape comprising canals, park, woodland and formal gardens.
It was subsequently informalised by 18th and 19th century designers including William Earnes and Samuel Lappidge.
The gardens were restored and greatly added to by Anne Crawley over the last 30 years, and are now managed by her daughter, and son-in-law, a garden ...
