All packed and ready to go by 11.00 a still left a little late. No trouble on the roads and swift service for lunch in the pub so arrived in good time at the parking. Well, after crashing for 14hrs I managed to not experience any jet lag other than a lack of appetite, I think my stomach may if stayed behind in Australia... meh...I've spent the last few days exploring Bristol. What a beautiful city! The city center itself is fairly small, manageable to walk around in a couple hours, but birstol itself consists of many small suburbs which makes it large! 400,000+ people. ... like. If you have a beam made of Oak that is rotten, you can replace it as long as it is an Oak beam. It doesn't matter how much it costs, that is what you have to do. I suppose you could cheat, but the people with enough money to own a Listed building are happy to follow the rules.

... I got to explore the castle and see the state apartments, Queen Marys Dolls House and St. George's Chaple. The state apartments where so impressive, the idea of walking through a once occupied castle just leaved you with this surreal feeling. I also got to see Changing the Guard performance. Afterwards we headed to Stonehenge which scenery was literally like someone took me out of life and placed me in a fairytale book ...

... is an ancient burial mound, nobody knows why the neolithic inhabitants of this area made such an enormous pile of earth in which to bury their dead.
