... Whilst Jayne was getting out of the tourist Gulag, I legged it down to the bus stop, surely we'd made it. Jayne joined me and I checked the phone for the time. It was 6.59am exactly. Then we waited.....and waited. I said give it til 7.10am....but still no bus. We looked at the bus ticket and it stated that we needed to be at the bus stop 10 minutes before departure, maybe we'd missed it. There was a number to call so I did. The number went through to our friends ...

        ... are available.

So, has anyone famous lived here? Well the most famous former resident was none other than Francisco Franco & from here in 1936 his plottings led to the Spanish Civil War. I havent seen any memorials to him here, so I guess the locals are not too fussed about him.

And on the topic of civil war, Mrs. Gibbs and myself have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here and the easy going way of life here is very ...

... is a puzzle to me. It was a bumpy landing and almost got a bit bumpy with the chap in front of me who got lippy with me . Personal space was at a premium on that plane and I.m surprised no one got murdered. But land we did....and waited forever for our bags...... we then eventually got on our bus, which was going to take us an hour and a half to get to Los Gigantes. It was also pouring with ...
