... counter, we later found out they were just there for storage reasons but hey we enjoyed them... So at the late hour of 9.30pm but after a 9hr session I exited stage right and left the boys with muted jeers of the club opens at 11pm until 4am..! Good luck boys I thought and walked back home... I believe it was 3am that they returned weary from their outstanding efforts..!!! Needless to say the golf the day following was ...

... have been spending all day trying to more or less figure out our itinerary. We will spend the rest of December in Barcelona/Tarragona, and then we will spend the very beginning on January in England with another friend of ours, and then I have a very quick turn around and head to Murcia on the 7th. So you'll probably hear from me again sometime in the middle of January when I getting settled into my new city!

... is open at this time of year and it had more of a ‘homely’ feel than the last one and was set within a nature reserve. After setting up we headed off to check out the private beach which was only 500m from the campsite, this is when we knew that we had finally found a more traditional Spain. The coastline is beautiful with small rocky coves around every corner and wooded tracks to explore along the cliff edge, we couldn’t wait to have a proper look ...

The road signs, traffic lights etc all take a bit of getting used to and we were keen to get to our destination as quick as possible. We had been in Valls overnight so that we could get a final assaig (practice) in with Colla Joves Xiquets de Valls before the big day on Sunday and Julie had managed to get tickets for the 2nd day of the Concurs. We'd debated driving to Tarragona from Valls because it's less than 30 minutes but the high cost of parking in the city put us off and instead we walked down to the bus station and caught a bus to Tarragona instead.
