Today I feel blessed… It has been an amazing week in Shanghai. Honestly, this is the simplest week I've had so far. ... without further adieu the bar began their display. So we craned our necks and were able to have our own personal fireworks display. It was so cool! I got hit with firework shrapnel but hey, it was pretty :)
Once the 15 minute show was over, we pushed and shoved our way through the crowd and decided to head somewhere else. We ended up at the Shanghai House of Jazz and Blues. It was in a beautifully decorated French Concession mansion. There were quite a few people ...
... actually found! There are 3 pits - Pit 1 is the largest one and has most of the uncovered army in it, Pits 2 & 3 are still being worked on so when we were there we got to watch people uncovering more statues. The whole complex and the way the buildings were built around the army was amazing.
After, we headed back to the hostel and booked our flight for the next day into Shanghai... More to come on Shanghai soon ...
