... new and Roo has given me so much info about every cove and peninsula on the map, I feel inspired to explore. I think the weekend is for family time so I hope to hop back to Palma, do a day or two sight seeing. It's tempting to take the bus into the mountains too and enjoy the snow! Although the hair pin bends above the tunnel are closed today...so I'm not sure which buses will be running that way. Trotted into town with Roo to collect the kids today, so got ...

During the night the ship changed course for Mallorca in order to carry out a medical evacuation of a passenger. No word just rumours of the condition of the passenger evacuated. A nice day but a bit blowy so deck quoits and shuffleboard comps were cancelled since they take place on the top deck of Adonia. Therefore we spent a relaxing day around the ship. Dress code for tonight's dinner is Black & White night. ...

All in all this island seems like an expensive place for the rich and famous play in. Not the kind of place we will likely come back ...

... water, juices and ice cream. We are close to the break even point with 2 days to go. So last day drinks will be free!! Yeh! The other advantage of this is that you are not surprised by a large final day bill at check out when you discover that you consumed more than you thought. No show tonight so we will have pre-dinner drinks and will have dinner on our own as Alex and Julie are ashore for dinner and we don't sail till midnight. Ciao for now and tomorrow it is ...

Celebrating one month (+) in Europe!

We crossed the one-month mark primarily feeling the up's of our journey (and mostly laughing at the small down moments). We actually celebrated September 20 in a perfect way. We were invited to meet up with Spanish friends at the beach in Denia (an hour south along the coast) for a long, lingering beachside lunch and splash in the sea. We met Sandra and her daughters Sara (now 14) ...
