What an interesting and surprising little place this is!.
We really had only thought of this place as a stop-over rest and recouperation before our main stop but are now finding daily what a lovely little place and community this is.
Everyone is so friendly with a mixture of nationalities. Some are here for the whole winter and we are beginning to wonder why anyone needs to travel further if the sun is here then stay and enjoy ...
... plus, because it means the site never gets overcrowded. However the campsite does recognise the problem and provides a twice-weekly minibus trip to the supermarket, and the staff regularly fill in the worst potholes in the road, although the improvement doesn’t last long!
Some like to go to the big resorts where they have the high rise hotels and apartments, John Smiths on tap and bacon and egg for breakfast. Others ...
