    ... exhibition were soundtracked by cartoon songs being piped through the house's entire soundsysem. I suppose I should have realised the museum would be more than a little unusual when I saw that the building resembles a Loire-valley castle in an otherwise unremarkable residential street.

    So, looking for something to do in Mardel in winter? Go to this museum and be entertained by the bizarre, just make sure you get on the right bus to get there.

    We spent a week in Mar Del Plata where our aims included relaxing, sleeping in and of course continuing to enjoy the food and wine of Argentina. It's safe to say that we achieved all these goals! Mar Del Plata is a beach town south of Buenos Aires where many Argentines spend their Summers. However given we were there near the beginning of Winter, it was extremely quiet and almost like a ghost town to some degree, but again it suited the down time we had in mind. ...

    ... in the UK. However, Mardel has none of the tackiness and is really very pleasant to walk around, with wide treelined boulevardes and of course the parks of which the Argentinians are so fond and of which they take great care.

    ... about it and were fascinated with what was happening. We're not sure whether this happens very regular from their response but it was pretty cool to see. We retuned back to the hostel after sun set then nipped out to get food for tea. We decided to cook stake tonight so headed to the butchers for a nice cute off filler, not at all expensive in comparison to England. The food we cooked was delicious, accompanied by roasted butternut squash ...

    ... cost when we could go to one closer for a lot cheaper. and would have to wait an hour for the next one. Whats more the weather at this point was over cast, some times it does clear up in the afternoon but we thought if i didn't we would have spent quite abit of money for a pointless day at the beach. We headed back to the hostel and on the way it started to rain so it turned out to be a good decision after all. ...
