... I found hoping it would be open. I checked it out it 10 times in the pasted 3 days and again it wasn't open. I accidentally told the Argentinian girls I hadn't gone to Havanna's even though I did at Iguazu. They told me it was a must, so I thought I should go again and I headed there after checking the store. I got another vanilla latte and this super popular chocolate thing. My only way to describe the chocolate thing is it's a fancy better tasting wagon wheel. The toque I made for ...

... when I said I was gonna walk was very shocked; he said my backpack was the weight of another person. Two km later (without even getting lost) I check in. I noticed two bruises on my arm from putting on my backpack, it may be a bit too heavy. Juan said this was the hostel he stayed at when in town; he mentioned it wasn't the best, but did the trick. First day of being a tourist along (having to read the map). Before I journey out I had breakfast which was probably the best so far. After I was done eating I called my granny because she jut got home from surgery. Nacho the guy working at the hostel gave me a map and told me the best places to check out, so off I went. My first stop was to walk out on a pier 'there's nothing special about it but you feel like you're in the middle of the ocean.' I walked along the sidewalk beside ...

... my info for identity theft (my passport number was on my ticket that I showed him). Lesson number two learn lie about your birthday. After 15-20 ish mins he realizes this isn't going anywhere or after he got all the info he needed he leaves. I get to Mar Del Plata and take an expensive tax ride to the hostel. I missed splitting these fees in two. I check in to the hostel and find out I am in my room alone. I also find out the hostel will be closing ...

    (Mis)adventures on public transport

... on the edge of town in a thunderstorm. Fortunately the correct bus arrived within a minute.

The hostel I was staying in was fairly hit and miss. It was poluck whether the showers, taps and toilet flushes were working; the dorm room was cramped; there was dog hair all over one of the sofas. I found it difficult to make firneds here - vocab for bus tickets and food wasn't all that useful for meeting people. Nevertheless, I managed ...
