... undercover waiting for it to pass. Apparently, they just stand and wait it out - but we had a lunch date to get back for.

We arrive saturated & try to dry off while waiting for Tyler to come in from school. She lends Meg a pair of boots, her joggers are saturated.
We all gate crash Andrew & Leana's Friday lunch date and head to their favourite restaurant for the lunch special.

... gets dark. We stop for dinner and face time Leana. We are just over 2 hours away. Andrew has discovered our plan but the kids have no idea.
She has organised for us to go into the apartment. She sends through directions and we hit the road again.

... schedule, sheesh. I love breakfast but here they barely eat in the morning and then eat a big lunch, a "snack" later then a nice dinner at like 10pm..
