    ... br> Today we went on the tram to the San Juan beach, a beach
    about 30 minutes in tram from Alicante. The beach there is much less crowded,
    so it’s a little bit nicer. All of the beaches here are very clean and pretty
    compared to the beach in Maryland. The water is so blue and clear that you can

    Friday 26 June
    Left the anchorage,
    which was very peaceful, and headed for Catergena. In the afternoon wandered around the town, which is rather pleasant.

    In the evening, justby the marina a stage was assembled and a DJ and band played until the early hours of the morning.

    Britain. Maya also showed us carvings made by people during the Spanish civil
    war. After our tour of the castle, we walked down the mountain into the quaint neighborhood
    of Santa Cruz. Although the beautiful homes here seemed as if they would be
    pricy, Maya informed us that it is actually a very poor community. This
