... while the rest of the group wandered around the town to shop and snack. Those of us who attended the fountain show were blown out of the water, quite literally. Each fountain show lasted about ten minutes, with a gradual increase in height and width of water sprays. The first two fountains were particularly powerful. Groups of Spanish school kids stood by the the railing of the fountains in their bathing suits and by the end of each display were ...

... we walked up to the enchanting town square, where we spent half an hour wandering through its streets and trying local delicacies in its shaded plazas. Then we ate our bag lunches in a nearby park. Afterwards, the students had a blast playing on the fun playground equipment. A highlight for Steve on his morning wander for bread for breakfast. He saw a dog carrying a lady's baguette home in its mouth AND it stopped for a pee on a wall en route (baguette still in mouth). Wadestown dog owners - lets hope you don't get any ideas!!! Although Stella could probably carry a Grande Baguette.

Valencia is an amazing, modern city and realising we hadn't finished doing everything we wanted ...
