We caught a taxi to the airport and picked up our new car.
We drove to Peniscola. It took 2 hours.
After 2 hours we were at our house.
There are heaps of cats. They look stray.
There is a REALLY big castle over the edge of the beach.
Each day we went to the beach and did flips off a ledge onto sand.

The next day and most days we went to the beach and me and my brother did some back and front flips.
And today we are leaving Pensicola and going to near Alicante for 4 nights and it will take 3 to 4 hours to get there.

For interest sake diesel petrol is 1.35euro a litre (about $2aus).
And the first 2 tolls we went through were 6.58 and 3.88 euro each within the first 15mins.
We have now changed the GPS to roads without tolls.
We checked into our townhouse in Peniscola after getting lost for at least an hour driving through these crazy, tiny, oneway, hilly streets.

... down to try and make it remotely comfortable! The ground was very dry, the weather very hot, so it made for an easy first night in a tent. I awoke in the morning to the sounds of crickets and bird song. I zipped open the tent and saw just how stunning the scenery was- surrounded by mountains- perfect.
