I exercised my f*"king fluency in English as I conversed, quite loudly and onesidedly, with the faux tudor facade of the 'Academy’ where I will be working (not allowed to say ‘school’). I had discovered it closed after an hour’s hot sunny midday journey at a pre-arranged meeting time which apparently only I was adhering to. Short of shaking my fists at the windows that building was under no ...

... down to try and make it remotely comfortable! The ground was very dry, the weather very hot, so it made for an easy first night in a tent. I awoke in the morning to the sounds of crickets and bird song. I zipped open the tent and saw just how stunning the scenery was- surrounded by mountains- perfect. September is beginning and work is slowly creeping in again. Where have the summer months gone? It is still so hot here, and never getting any less ...
