Always favouring the peaceful life, we set off in the direction Sue wanted and twenty metres down the alley, found ourselves outside a house of ill repute with upwards of a dozen 'Ladies of the Night' in various states of undress, adorning the pavements.     We found ourselves in Genoa today. We did a hop on hop off double decker bus ride. We found out this is where Christopher Columbus is from and saw many monuments for him and his house!
    Sophie saw something that she thought she might take up as a living: at a busy intersection on red lights a guy came out and did an amazing juggling act with battons then ran up to all the cars with a hat for €! Would be ok if she could juggle!?!

    Tuesday 9th Sept Today is travel day. We had a 3 hour drive to Menton train station to drop off the hire car .After a small hiccup at the first toll gate and $30.00 worth of cumulative tolls we found the train station drop off point for the Avis car .There was no Avis office or parking bays left ! Thank god for Robyn's SIM card, we phoned the Avis office and we were instructed to just park it and ...
