    Well, we never really planned on going to Genoa. Actually, the beauty of this trip is that we didn't do any planning at all. Ok, that’s a lie.     ... different, appealing to younger travellers ( although everyone we saw was closer to our age). Dinner is do-it-yourself with sandwiches, pasta to be microwaved, salads, and oddly, Hungarian goulash. There was a bar with the usual liquid offerings.     ... a short pasta (trenne) with pesto sauce (amazing). Unfortunately back at the hotel that evening I got the same dish (fixed menu) but it was nowhere near as good. I lost count a long time ago how much pizza we have eaten (particularly David). The town had lots of ristorantee but not many shops which David was probably relieved about.
