... and the city behind, as the sun starts to arrive and we encounter our first toll on the 400 highway heading west to Monterrey, our first of around 3000 pesos of tolls, at 40 to 200 pesos each, sometimes coming fast and furious.
True to form, I am leaving these diatribes short and sweet, but more excitement is on the way along the little travelled road of the 40/400 heading west and south towards Mazatlan.

I had the unfortunate experience of a kidney stone creating up on me just as the show was beginning. I felt fine until about five minutes before the show started but by the time we were about five songs in, I was doubled over in pain and unable to continue on the main camera. Today we were just casually chilling on our terrace when suddenly all hell broke loose around us, or respectively in the mountains close by.
