... seedy seaside town of Altea, and find the Hotel Altaya, a very adequate, old-fashioned place right on the front. It reminds Guy of the sort of Brighton hotels there were around in the sixties! He swims in the sea while Hilli showers and rests before we climb up into the old town for some delicious tapas and beer, much needed! Hilli manages to lose the way walking back, so we walk at least three miles... excellent ...

(I'm sure if we were more organised we would have survived...however Jed and I have pretty much played the whole summer by ear, know where we kinda want to go, but not knowing how long for or how we'd get there!
