Well, I missed a post one day and then it grew to two, then three.... I tried to remember each day, but I couldn't.

Jetzt kommt das Abflugdatum immer näher. Eine woche noch und mein Flug geht von Frankfurt über London nach Vancouver. Ich werde die seite hier nutzen um immer mal wieder ein bisshcen was zu schreiben und um Photos/Videos hochzuladen um euch alle etwas neidisch zu machen :-)

... goodbyes and Martin's mom took me to the rail station on the way to work. Martin, his mom and step dad were great. His step dad gave me a Barvarian beer mug. It even has a bell on the top to call for more beer. Very cool. Martin's mom gave me Berlin bear, their cities' animal that was seen throughout the downtown area. Checking in at Condors in Bahias small airport was easy. Condor took off on time and we had a pleasent flight. 10 hours later we touched down in Frankfurt. I managed to get my "overload" on ciggis through customs and had to buy a trainticket up to Kassel. On the train i fall asleep . In Kassel i caught the local train to my suburb. On the way back we sat next to Ines and I kept trying to steal her candy since we were only supposed to have one piece each and there was another group at 4:30pm. ... wine I thought, "not as bad as Mykonos". Well I was way off!!! It was 7 euros for a bottle of wine not a cup. How great is that!!! So I got a bottle and we all went to work. The wine was actually quite good and the music made the night even better. The only weird thing was that they were playing a lot of American tunes. The symphony played, "Austin Powers, Mission Impossible, and the themes to star wars and star trek"...Go figure!!! We then tried to go check out a jazz club ...

... to use the train system; renting is expensive, and the car will basically sit in the driveway all week. Next time, the train! We got to Hertz about 10 am, and were surprised to find that we couldn't get a car until 11:30. So we sat with all our luggage and worked on catching up on the blogs (I was really behind) and the time passed rather quickly.
