While we were still inland in Croatia, we really enjoyed the Plitvice National Park-it really is indescribable. It is a different beauty to this coastal one, but one that is unlike any I have ever seen…lakes so clear and green, surrounded by waterfalls and wildlife. We spent all day just walking around and enjoying it-I will never forget how beautiful it was ...

The only downer was that you can't swim in the lakes, but it's also good because if everyone could swim in them they wouldn't be crystal clear and blue anymore because people would disturb the fragile algae and wreck it.
