... The boys (Dwight is 37) were leaving early Monday morning for Scotland, and the rest of us are headed out to various locations this week. Because we had an all-day hike scheduled for the next morning, we thought we'd start early and be done around 10. Didn't happen. The party went on until the wee hours.... After a two hour drive into the mountains, we arrived at Plitvice National Park. Plitvice is a series of ...

Awaking to another glorious sunny day (35 degrees, sorry to those of you in the southern hemisphere) as much as I would have liked to spend more time exploring the Bled area and Slovenia in general I was also excited to be heading into Croatia.

It was once again a scenic drive through the Slovenian countryside and into Croatia. After a quick stop to equip ourselves with the local currency we were off to the charmingly sophisticated ...

This morning I got up quite early and headed down to use the gym before brekkie. I did my 20mins on the bike and 20 laps of the pool, so I felt nice and awake and ready for the day. I then went to breakfast as it finished at 10 and we didn't need to check out until 12 so I could pack after I had smashed the food :) we used the Internet for a little while as well before we left as we wanted the 1245 bus so there was no need to hurry. Once ...
