Took a family vacation to Gatlinburg, TN!! Don't have many pics on this computer but it's wonderful there. We stayed in a huge cabin. The scenery is out of this world. Pigeon Forge is great! We went to a local steakhouse, The Peddler, and it was awesome! They have great wine to choose from as well. We went for the 4th of July. It was beyond crowded but everyone had a blast, and we would go back in a heartbeat. ...

Since I had never been in the area we were going to head to Pigeon Forge. Little did we know that the traffic would be so backed up and stop and go at every light so we turned around and went to look for the Historic District. We could never see the sign that we had passed but we found a 4 lane road that ran parallel to the road we were previously on and it had ...

Day 7: Leaving. Wonderworks in Pigeon Forge. $23.99 adult, $14.99 kid = $75 (after $2 off coupon). Overnight stay in Sleep Inn Sevierville.

... where we'll be staying for a while with Lulu's parents.

While driving through Alabama, we noticed a large number of vehicles left by the side of the road. We're not talking about cars getting stranded temporarily due to a technical glitch, although you see those too more than in other states. No, we're talking about vehicles left seemingly permanently. The explanation we came up ...

Literally stumbling home we came across some lovely Greyhounds and their owner who were visiting for the next weekends Retired Greyhound Convention (only the biggest in the USA!! - Bugger!)

Leaving Gatlinburg the morning after we felt there was SO much to see and do in this little town and we barely scraped the surface but it is a place we will definately re-visit in the future!!
